Liquid Storage Structure

Liquide Storage Structure

Our Absorflex line includes a flexible, absorbent core engineered using Texsus know-how and an innovative production process.

Absorflex cores have a compressed, composite structure made of different substrates and a master batch of superabsorbent polymers (SAP) and inorganic fillers. They are engineered to achieve higher absorption and liquid retention performance with reduced weight and thickness when compared to all other products currently available on the market.

The main advantages of this innovative core are:

  • High concentration of SAP in a very low thickness;
  • Improved absorbency capacity due to a reduced gel blocking effect that is effective even for high SAP content;
  • Excellent flexibility and pliancy
  • Absence of fibers and fluff pulp

The core is designed to achieve synergetic properties with Texsus ADL materials that assure a proper distribution of liquids. And, what’s more, they can incorporate functional additives (liquids and solids).

Absorflex materials are designed to be used as the core for adult and baby diapers (medium-high SAP content) and they are also suitable for the production of sanitary napkins and panty liners (low SAP content).

Medical area is also a very important field of application for our Absorflex, which can be used for high absorbency needs such as wound care pads. Absorflex also has many uses in industrial fields where strong fluid retention is required.
