With an experience of over 30 years in the market, actual Texsus management started it’s nonwovens activity back in 1978.

Mr.Claudio Giacometti founds "Tescotex srl" and introduces viscose cleaning products into the market.

1983

Following its initial success is established "Pantex srl", specialising in the production of carded Thermo bonded nonwovens. During this period the Company issues a revolutionary patent for the production of Perforated Thermobonded nonwovens.

1984

Mr.Giacometti founds “Pantex Sud srl” mainly dedicated to the development and production of Perforated Thermobonded nonwovens.

1987

Mr.Giacometti starts to produce Perforated Plastic film and to supply the main players of femcare market.

1989

Establishment of the Group “Fintex & Partners Italia SpA” actives in different manufacturing and commercial areas.

1990

The Group starts the production of Airthrough bonded nonwovens.

1992

“Finpantex SpA” is finally setup to develop, manufacture and launch on the market the most up-to-date Spunlaced nonwovens on the market.

1996

“Finpantex SpA” manufactures “Swiffer” wipes for P&G.

1999

“Finpantex SpA” announces its exit from the Spunlaced business with the aim to concentrate the Group activities on feminine hygiene, baby care and incontinence market.

2003

Establishment of “Texsus SpA” that incorporates “ Finpantex SpA” and “Pantex srl”. “Pantex Sud srl” is sold through a management buyout operation.

2004

In order to provide assistance to the customers for product development “Texsus SpA” set a pilot production line up.

2004

“Texsus SpA” starts up his first spooling line. Launch of Absortex cores.

2005

Launch of a new high volume chemical bonded material for domestic cleaning.

2006

Start up of an additional modern production line that allows “Texsus SpA” to double its high loft Airthrough bonded production capacity. Set up of a completely automatic packaging system. Upgrading of the existing spooling line to enlarge production capacity. Launch of Velvtouch materials.

2010

Investment in a Photovoltaic System able to generate part of the necessary electrical energy.

2012

Launch of Multifunctional Acquitex l ADL designed increased SAP ratio core.

2013

New building for over 10.000 mq, a new airthrough bonding line for high grammage and multistructured ADLs and improvement of the spooling production capacity.

2015

New lamination and converting line

2016

Launch of sloopy - frontal tape and be-Dry- Semi apertured topsheet+ADL

New spooling line.

2018

Opening of new offices at Texsus headquarter.

2018

Acquisition of Texsus S.p.A by "Shalag Nonwoven Group".
